Different Shapes of the Back Leg. How the back leg shape should be. There are three big ones that I think about. The first one is the L shape delivery. You leg lift, then create an L shape. You go down and then out. Some people call it the drop and drive delivery. The second one is what I call the diagonal delivery. You leg lift and just fall. There’s nothing really coming from the back leg. The last one, which is the most ideal, is when you leg lift and drift slightly. Your center of mass moves forward just a bit. Now you’re in position to create an impulse. It’s not an L shape. It’s more of a curve. You’re moving toward the target the whole time. As you drift, you’re creating force in that direction. That’s what sets everything up. Then you drop into the back leg. That creates ground reaction force. Force goes into the ground, and that’s what propels you forward.

Joanna Johnson, the World's Greatest Teacher, walks us through the disaster that was Reaganomics: • The tripling of the national debt and expansion of the wealth gap. • The crisis caused by deregulation. • The crippling of the social safety net. • A full frontal attack on education. • Essentially the beginning, (the roots) of project 2025 and the Republican Party’s efforts to stave off equality and diversity. • The beginning of what has been a steady march towards the American Oligarchy.

Most pitching advice online is flat-out wrong. And it’s costing you velocity, command… and your arm. After 20+ years in the game—and earning a Master’s + PhD in sports science—I can tell you this: 👉 Your front leg isn’t just “landing”… it’s your brake, your stabilizer, and your power transfer point. Low velocity pitchers all make the same mistake: ❌ They land with the front leg pointed at the target ❌ The knee collapses into flexion ❌ They lose stability, rotation, and command Here’s what actually works (and what the research shows): ✔️ Land slightly CLOSED (~20°) ✔️ Let the knee hinge AWAY from the target ✔️ Create a firm block to stop momentum and transfer energy Why? Because your hips rotate through femur adduction/abduction—not magic. If your front leg is open → you leak energy and “fly open” If your front leg is closed → your pelvis SLAMS into a stable base and squares up That’s how you: ⚡ Increase velocity 🎯 Improve command 🛡️ Reduce injury risk This isn’t opinion. This is biomechanics. Physics. Anatomy. If your coach can’t explain this… you’re learning the wrong system. Ready to train the right way? 🚨 Chris Sale : Slider Tips • Grip at the top of the horseshoe • Low thumb = More depth • High thumb = Harder L/R break ⭐️ Manipulating thumb placement can be a great way to change depth & speed w/out dramatically changing the grip.

No president in modern history has used the office to enrich himself the way Donald Trump has. That's not a political opinion. It’s the conclusion of ethics watchdogs who have spent their careers watching this stuff. The crypto ventures. The foreign deals with the Saudis, the Qataris, the Emiratis. The $400 million Qatari jet. The $90 million in media settlements. The gold golf balls from the Japanese. This is the man who told you he was going to clean up Washington. For this President, the presidency isn’t about protecting our democracy or the public trust. It’s about turning the highest office in the land into a personal cash register, and he’s been doing it from day one.

Do these exercises to protect your UCL 👇 ✅ Fingertip holds / bar hangs – build the flexor strength that takes stress off the ligament ✅ Band pronation – train control through full supination ✅ Band deviation – strengthen the forearm through thumb-up / thumb-down motion ✅ Isometric bat/dowel holds – stability in end-range positions ✅ Offset barbell holds – target the FCU to stabilize the inner elbow

Studies have shown that pitchers who create the best impulse with their back leg—putting the most force into the ground over time—tend to throw the hardest. When you do this well, you get guys like Shane McClanahan, Jacob Misiorowski, and Spencer Strider. They look like they’re almost jumping down the mound. But really, they’re just putting so much force into the ground that it propels them forward. The key for me is how that force is created. I don’t want to tense up. I don’t want it to feel like a single-leg squat. It should feel more like a max effort jump. The quicker I go down, the higher I can go. That’s because I’m taking advantage of the stretch-shortening cycle. And that’s what improves my impulse.

Ignorance, the root and stem of all evil
🚨Jeffrey Sachs "FIRED" President of the United States 🚨“Trump is a Stupid Man” 🚨"Mr. Netanyahu, the world's, greatest war criminal at large TODAY" Trump is mentally unstable, suffers from what is called the dark triad personality, of, psychopathy, extreme narcissism, extreme, chronic, and impulsive lying, and, no small amount of paranoia. There's evidence that this man is, experiencing dementia on top of these lifelong traits.

This was Donald Trump’s way of announcing his surrender in his own war. A couple of the mechanical adjustments that @willyvest has made over the last 4-5 years. 1) Eliminating early pelvic hike This was the big one, as it got him in a more stacked position at landing. Part of the learning process here involved moving forward (increasing drift) without losing the back leg. Finding that sweet spot where he still felt back leg tension was a learning process. Step-backs plus "front shoulder down" played a big role early on. 2) Getting the arm in plane ✈️ Elbow climb is incredibly common, but it's a subtle velo killer. You can drop the slot back in plane, or you can bring the trunk up to match the arm. His arm angle increased slightly even as the trunk tilt increased, which improved both velo and FB shape.

Cristopher Sanchez Circle Changeup Grip (2-Seam Oriented) CS throws a Fosh-like Circle CH w/the seams (ring & middle fingers). It's key for him to release off both fingers (noted below). Pitch from Phillies / Dodgers 2025 NLDS G1. Note: CH is pitch where you'll see more grip variations depending on a pitcher's mechanics & arm slot. IMO, Sanchez is an outlier in being a true Sinker baller* & throwing a 2-seam oriented CH (eg 2S/SI-oriented pitchers tend to throw 4S-oriented CH). He LHP w/low 3/4 arm slot & is 6'6" (longer fingers for circle grip). *Did not register throwing a 4S Fastball in 2025 per StatCast. Grip creds: @LanceBroz & @enosarris
