@Joe__Bassey You know why The renewed South Africa–Nigeria partnership signals more than bilateral cooperation—it is a shift in Africa’s trade architecture. From energy and logistics to manufacturing and finance, this alignment could redirect supply chains toward intra-African value chains.

South Africans are attacking every African, especially Nigerians, in East London, South Africa 🇿🇦 after an Igbo union declared an Igwe last week. Many cars and businesses have been destroyed already with gory videos being circulated. We know Igbo people love unionism. It’s high time they stop giving the title Igwe outside their ancestral land to avoid controversy between them and the people.

We don’t care if it was a cultural celebration or what. You don’t come to a foreign land and practice your cultural activities that threaten the local culture. Why don’t you go home, practice those things, and come back? Nigerians be warned don’t try us.

@MLK_ZDK What is the problem here? Professor in some countries refers to a teacher or researcher. This guy’s research and analysis is more that professorship - he can call himself prophet … Consider him as prof by practice. Finished!

This should have been a top priority for Addis Ababa’s bf parks!!but there is still time. Prioritize Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) now, then roll out a full metro system that efficiently connects the outskirts to the city centre and vice versa."l

@ajosephstyl3 of course Afars are ethiopians. - tension between tigriyna and tigre will cross boarders- on issues of equal opportunity and religious identity. - highlanders always looking down upon the lowlanders and muslims won't stay longer. it is an artificial 'we' when you talk to them.

Breaking News ‼️ In collaboration or Haile Selassie’s grandson, Prince Ermias Sahle-Selassie and Ethiopian government secured the return of gold hairpin. Ethiopia has welcomed the repatriation of a significant 19th-century gold hairpin that once belonged to Empress Tiruwork Wube, the wife of Emperor Tewodros II. This elegant artifact, featuring intricate filigree work, dangling chains, and decorative elements typical of imperial Ethiopian craftsmanship, was looted during the British expedition to Magdala in 1868. Following the defeat of Emperor Tewodros's forces, many personal items from the imperial family, including belongings of the Empress who passed away shortly afterward, were taken away and ended up in private collections abroad for over 150 years. The successful return of the hairpin was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Royal Ethiopian Trust, Prince Ermias Sahle-Selassie, and social development consultant Dr. Alula Pankhurst, in collaboration with the Ethiopian Heritage Authority. The piece, which had appeared at an auction in Rome, was acquired with donor support and formally handed over for permanent housing at the National Museum of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa. It will be displayed alongside other recently repatriated items, allowing Ethiopians and visitors to appreciate this rare link to the country's imperial history. This repatriation represents a meaningful step in recovering dispersed cultural heritage through dialogue and cooperation rather than confrontation. It highlights the importance of reconnecting modern Ethiopia with tangible symbols of its past, fostering greater understanding and preservation of national treasures for future generations.

Ethiopia Scam Nation: When Celebrities Turn on Their Own People Behind the fame and flashy video, some Ethiopian artists and so-called “entrepreneurs” are being exposed for scamming innocent people over 1300 victims so far, and likely many more. This goes beyond small fraud. It points to a deeper network where influence, business, and power intersect, leaving ordinary citizens to pay the price. When those are meant to inspire instead of exploiting, trust collapses. And right now, it’s the people of Ethiopia who are carrying that burden. #Ethiopia #EthiopianScam #ExposeTheScam #JusticeForVictims #StopTheFraud #CorruptionExposed #FraudAlert #ScamAwareness #VoiceOfThePeople #AccountabilityNow

@Yonijoni3 Quoting yourself - You can't liberate a land that doesn't belong to you ! There were 5 autonomous regions in Ethiopia: Eritrea, Assab, Tigray, dire dawa, and Ogaden. How assab came as part of Eritrea, nobody knows. It was as if Tigray or dire dawa was part of Eritrea.. Map👇🏽

@GTWTW_Now That ደደብ & ዘረኛ did no other arch enemy can do against Ethiopia. Ethnic division & conflict is what Israel is trying to install in Iran so that Israel ll live happily ever after. Add to it agreeing (even if he d no mandate) to give away all the coastline…I stop.

Ethiopia struggled under Meles, and it’s in even deeper crisis now. But we shouldn’t ignore the fact that many of today’s problems—political fragmentation, institutional weakness, and the seeds of division—were planted during Meles Zenawi’s era. What we’re living through is the long‑term consequence of choices made then, now fully unraveling
Mengsteab Abraha Berihe@Mengsteab444

Ethiopia was much better under Mellese Zenawi.🕊
