For Freshers Week 2024, the Safe Bus and Night Marshals were out each evening to ensure the new arrivals had a safe night out. 🧑‍🎓 Over the week, the bus helped 28 people, including students from both universities as well supporting all types of visitors to the city centre. 🚎

As Freshers Week continues, this is a reminder that the Bath Safe Bus and the Night Marshals will be out every night this week from 10.30pm - 4am to welcome students to the city and to ensure everyone gets home safely! 💙🚎 @bathbid

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, the Bath Safe Bus will not be out this weekend. 😭 However, the Night Marshals and Welfare team will be out over the weekend, including Bank Holiday Sunday and can be contacted via channel 1 on the city link radios. 🗣️

The Bath Safe Bus has now been in operation for 1 year, and we are proud of what the team has achieved! 🚎 The bus has supported 388 people with 170 medical incidents fully resolved at the bus. We’ve calculated a saving of £340,000 in ambulance costs and £71,060 in A&E costs. 🚑
