10 days ago, we introduced Splash the Pot to AoF games to test the feature and gather initial input from players. Since then, we’ve been closely monitoring how it performs and how you interact with it and we got a lot of good feedback. Today, we’re ready to move into the next phase with the introduction of new Infused Splash Pots. 💰 CoinPoker will be adding $500,000 extra per week directly into Splash the Pot. This builds on top of the existing system and turns it into a true rewards layer within the game. For context, Splash the Pot works by triggering random drops directly into active hands. These drops come from a shared splash pool built through gameplay, where 100% of the pool of any splash contribution is returned to players. CoinPoker does not take any cut of it. With the addition of infusion, the system is no longer only driven by player contributions. CoinPoker is adding extra funds on top of the existing pool, so splashes now carry additional value that comes directly from us, and its a net positive for the players. In practice, this leads to bigger rewards appearing directly in-game, including Mega Splashes that can reach up to 1000 big blinds. Players can follow splash activity, pool performance, and results directly in the client at any time, with clear visibility into how the system is running. To make the system more balanced across the table, each splash will be split between the pot winner and the rest of the players involved. We’ve tested different ways to structure this split internally, but what percentage should go to the winner versus the rest of the table is something we want to shape together with the community. We’ve set up a poll in the first comment. We’d really appreciate your input. From March 16 to March 31, we’ll continue giving 100% rakeback to players. We’ll also introduce new reward mechanics like leaderboards to gain community feedback & improve the product. These leaderboards will be a core cash game reward going forward, and on top we will fill up everyones rakeback to 100% during these two weeks. We understand that this makes leaderboard competition feel somewhat redundant. However, we believe it’s the fairest solution for all players while we gather feedback on these new rewards. Dear Community, Thank you again for your feedback over the past 24 hours. We truely hear you. Yesterday, we introduced new rake caps on the new client. We anticipated that adjusting rake at launch would create negative sentiment. However, we made the deliberate decision to implement the change on day one rather than later in the month, as we believe transparency from the start is the right approach. What is on us is that we did not provide enough context around the reasoning and the bigger picture. We would like to clarify that now: • CoinPoker has always been, and will remain, a player-first poker site. This is one of our core company principles & we hope we're able to demonstrate that with our historic actions. • In the coming weeks, we will announce our new rewards model, designed to return a large amount of generated rake back to players while implementing a fair and competitive low effective rake structure. • Our goal is to always aim to have the lowest effective rake in the market. We believe that the poker dream has to stay alive and games always need to be winnable long term. We will hold ourselves to these standards. Our clear objective is to provide the best overall product experience, uphold the highest possible security standards, and remain player-first by maintaining the most competitive effective rake possible. We fully understand that one of the biggest concerns in any poker community is the feeling that operators do not listen. Decisions in this area directly impact players’ livelihoods, and for many of you this is personal. We are very aware of that responsibility and do not take it lightly. Dear Community, First of all, thank you for the incredible support during yesterday’s launch. Within the first 60 minutes on the new software, we reached record-high traffic levels. The response has been overwhelming, and we are genuinely grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us. Yesterday, a report shared by @wolfsec0x0 raised questions about potential security risks. We immediately escalated the matter to our technical team for review. After an initial assessment, the team confirmed that there were no backend vulnerabilities and no security risks affecting player funds, accounts, or core systems. However, we did not want to rely solely on an internal review. Before addressing the community publicly, we chose to speak directly with the player who raised the concerns to ensure that every point was thoroughly examined. He kindly provided a detailed technical breakdown, which our team reviewed in depth and responded to without delay. The confirmed findings are as follows: • There has been no threat to player data, funds, or backend infrastructure at any time. • Certain highlighted items relate to frontend elements and legacy code that is no longer active or in use and are not connected to live systems. These are now being fully removed as part of an ongoing cleanup process. • We are continuing to communicate directly and are open to further independent testing beyond the original scope. For transparency: our software currently runs on a hybrid architecture using both Unity and Electron. The core and majority of the upgraded system is built in Unity, which provides performance improvements and enhanced functionality. Certain interface components remain in Electron where it is technically more suitable. The underlying fundamentals are secured and optimized within the Unity framework. Security is not a one-time checkbox. It is an ongoing process. We are committed to constant improvement and continuous review. Our objective is clear: to build and maintain the most secure and safest online poker platform in the world. We sincerely thank @wolfsec0x0 for taking the time to raise these points. Constructive and independent feedback strengthens the product and ultimately benefits the entire community. We encourage everyone to continue sharing feedback.
