People would have complained if a CGI dog was used. Now people complained over the real dog until they actually googled what a Great Dane pup looks like. Now the argument shifts over to complaining over the ears not being cropped. Holy shit pick a struggle.

@BeAfraid_Horror I'm an old guy who lives the cartoon. I really really liked the movie. It's fun af really well done and sticks to the feel of cartoon. Ppl complaining are just being loud bc they hate fun.

Would I enjoy this movie even if I didn't grow up with the cartoon and don't know much about it?

@BeAfraid_Horror If you enjoy cool monsters, a talking Skeleton, some family humor and innuendos, and lots of action, then yes, you'll like it. I was very happy with it and I didn't watch the cartoon growing up.

@BeAfraid_Horror It's daft, fun and action packed. You dont need a degree in He-man or anything to enjoy it 😂 The tone reminds me of some MCU movies and the Breandon Fraser Mummy movies.

I prefer this over a CGI dog. He's adorable and the color is perfect. The cast also looks on point. Crossing my fingers that the show is actually good.

@BeAfraid_Horror Probably because it was gonna be an adult movie at first but after test screenings they changed it to be more family friendly

Hot take: these movies were well casted but they weren't actually good or felt like Scooby-Doo. Even as a kid I hated that they were supernatural and thought the tone was off. The animated movies were better and Zombie Island pulled off having real monsters much better.

@BeAfraid_Horror I actually kinda agree with this . They’re fun but the animated films did the adult, spooky and Scooby humor much better . Even the Scoobynatural episode did the adult Scooby tone better.
