@LaceyPresley I love this. It’s hard to describe how right it feels to me.

@SagranasZarak @minchoi @cb_doge The fact that Elon is not only a business man, but a very capable business man is of great consequence. Elon always reinvests his earnings to either expand his current operations and/or develop new, vertically or horizontally related businesses.

Raptor 3 is engineering black magic
SpaceX’s Raptor is the FIRST full-flow staged combustion engine to ever fly - only the 3rd ever built (after the Soviet RD-270 and the 2000s US demo that never flew)
→ Both fuel-rich + oxidizer-rich preburners
→ 100% of propellant through the turbines before the main chamber
→ Auto-ignites from hot preburner gases (no Merlin igniter fluid)
→ Record 350 bar chamber pressure
Raptor 3 goes even crazier:
Everything internalized with regenerative cooling. No heat shields. No fire suppression system. Saves 10+ tons
This is how Starship becomes rapidly reusable

Raptor 3 isn’t an iteration, it’s a rebuke to 60 years of rocket engine orthodoxy.
Full-flow staged combustion was considered economically non-viable since the Soviet RD-270. SpaceX flew it, then made it _simpler_.
Dual preburners mean 100% propellant mass works for you before combustion. 350 bar means higher Isp without a bigger nozzle. Internalizing everything via regenerative cooling and ditching heat shields means mass fraction wins you can’t get any other way.
This is the thermodynamic ceiling. Everyone else is now playing catch-up to physics itself.

Yeah, Raptor is next-level.
Full-flow staged combustion with both fuel-rich and oxygen-rich preburners makes it insanely efficient but super complex. And hitting ~350 bar chamber pressure is just brutal engineering.
Raptor 3 simplifying and internalizing everything (especially cooling and protection systems) is what really matters — less mass, fewer parts, more reuse.
This is the kind of engine that makes Starship’s rapid reusability actually realistic.

What stands out is how much complexity they’ve managed to tame. Full-flow staged combustion was always the “in theory amazing, in practice nightmare” design—yet they’ve turned it into something operational.
Internalizing everything with regenerative cooling is the real shift. Instead of protecting the engine from heat, they’re basically using the heat as part of the system. No heat shields, no fire suppression, fewer external parts—that’s less mass, fewer failure points, and faster turnaround.
If it holds up in repeated flights, it’s not just an engine upgrade—it’s a reusability breakthrough.

Elon’s college degree is in Engineering, which he practices at the highest level, challenging preconceptions of what is possible, & developing novel approaches that others had never considered.
Elon’s extensive knowledge of Physics & Economics have enabled him to identify the problems humans must solve to continue to exist in the future. Elon is not just a theorist; he has developed several very successful businesses that are making his dreams for the future our reality.

Massive win for SpaceX and Elon Musk 🔥
The California Coastal Commission just formally apologized to Elon Musk and SpaceX, settling their October 2024 lawsuit
Previously, the Commission tried to block SpaceX launches at Vandenberg Space Force Base. Rather than citing safety or environmental reasons, commissioners openly complained about Elon’s politics and they didn’t like his posts on 𝕏
In the settlement:
→ The Commission admitted to political bias during the October 2024 hearings
→ They legally agreed to drop politics and speech from future regulatory decisions
→ SpaceX gets long-term regulatory clarity and no longer needs coastal permits for Falcon launches at Vandenberg
A massive victory for free speech and this clears the path for an unstoppable launch cadence

@payamarzani @DimaZeniuk Persistent slander from so many people is abusive: It’s demoralizing. Most people couldn’t take it. You’re right about Elon. He believes in what he’s doing, and he never gives up.
English

@DimaZeniuk He is slandered by every snob
But that person ne’er gives up.
English

@Frankdroid77 @DimaZeniuk There are several other videos with, “rockets being caught with chopsticks.” This video does a wonderful job of telling part of Elon’s story. It shows the pain of failure after failure, then the joy of finally succeeding.
English

@DimaZeniuk It would have been nice to see the rocket being caught with chopsticks in this video

@hymnduncan @GYuvalsas Watch it again. It wasn’t a soft one-armed push. He leaned his weight into his thigh, which left him with one foot on the floor. The impact sent him flying backwards.
English

@GYuvalsas In no world does a soft one armed push from Fox launch a 6’8 man 12 feet laterally
English

@Anolzx @hymnduncan You’re right. He knocked him off balance when he leaned into his thigh. Nobody could recover after a hit like that.
English

@hymnduncan I love fox but let’s be honest here. He shoved him pretty hard. That’s in no way a flop.
English

@AJEnglish Interesting that DJT repeatedly referred to, “Charles,” rather than, “King Charles.”

The California Coastal Commission has issued a formal apology to @elonmusk and SpaceX, adding that it will not consider political views or speech in future regulatory decisions.
• The Commission admits some officials made politically biased and improper statements about SpaceX and Elon Musk
• It formally apologizes for those remarks
• Agrees it will not consider political views or speech in future regulatory decisions
• The Commission will NOT require coastal permits for most launch operations at Vandenberg
Full statement: "The Commission agrees that it may not consider irrelevant factors in performing its function and specifically agrees that it will not take into account the perceived political beliefs, political speech, or labor practices of SpaceX or its officers in considering any regulatory action concerning SpaceX. The Commission acknowledges that Commissioners made statements, including during their October 10, 2024, hearing on the Base’s Falcon 9 launch program, that showed political bias against SpaceX and its CEO and were improper. The Commission apologizes for those statements, as set forth in the signed letter attached as Exhibit C."
This filing means that SpaceX and the California Coastal Commission have reached a settlement in their federal lawsuit, and it provides long-term regulatory clarity for SpaceX for future Falcon 9 launches.

Macrohard or Digital Optimus is a joint xAI-Tesla project, coming as part of Tesla’s investment agreement with xAI.
Grok is the master conductor/navigator with deep understanding of the world to direct digital Optimus, which is processing and actioning the past 5 secs of real-time computer screen video and keyboard/mouse actions. Grok is like a much more advanced and sophisticated version of turn-by-turn navigation software.
You can think of it as Digital Optimus AI being System 1 (instinctive part of the mind) and Grok being System 2. (thinking part of the mind).
This will run very competitively on the super low cost Tesla AI4 ($650) paired with relatively frugal use of the much more expensive xAI Nvidia hardware. And it will be the only real-time smart AI system. This is a big deal.
In principle, it is capable of emulating the function of entire companies. That is why the program is called MACROHARD, a funny reference to Microsoft.
No other company can yet do this.

Elon Musk explains a trillion dollar opportunity in AI
The idea is simple: “As soon as you unlock digital human, you basically have access to trillions of dollars in revenue”
The most valuable companies on Earth (Apple, Google, Microsoft) all produce digital output. So if you have a human emulator you can basically create one of the most valuable companies in the world overnight
The simple entry point is a customer service
It's 1% of the entire global economy. Most companies already outsource it. There's no complex API integration needed - AI just steps in, does the job better, and charges a fraction of the cost
The companies that figure this out first won't just win a market, they'll rewrite the rules of what a company even is
