It's an ugly history for Round 1 WRs who struggle as rookies like Matthew Golden did: 29-361-0 and 1.35 YPRR.
But GB is still going to hand Golden a ton of routes next to Christian Watson and Jayden Reed. Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks gone.

Rice = Kelce replacement. They can tag him if they aren’t ready to extend him
The type of WR they draft early would say a lot:
Lemon = fade Rice
Tate, KC, Tyson, Boston = fade Worthy

I think KC knows they badly need another WR opposite Rashee Rice for when Travis Kelce retires.
To me, if they draft a WR at 9 it tells me more about how they view Xavier Worthy than how they view a potential Rashee Rice extension

🚨 Dynasty MAJOR Note 🚨 If the Kansas City Chiefs take any of the top 3 projected WRs: Tate / Lemon / Tyson. With the 9th overall pick in the NFL Draft, that should tell you all you need to know about Rashee Rice situation and wanting JSN money. How would you view Rice outside of an Andy Reid offense with Mahomes at the helm? In my eyes there is two ways to look at it. 1. Rashee gets his major contract and is a solidified top 7 dynasty WR. 2. They aren’t going to pay him and then have Mahomes contract as well, kills the ability to make moves. They draft a rookie WR and it drastically drops Rice value and he isn’t there anymore in the future and you were late to the sell party at value. Thoughts?
