Our bees are loving the sunshine today and collecting plenty of pollen for our Norbridge honey .🍯

Our new beekeepers, been up to visit the bees for the first time!

First bee club! All the children had fun learning how to extract honey.

I’ve been harvesting some honey ready for Macmillan coffee event 🍯🍯🍯

A super bee club tonight! Three hives are doing very well. One of the hives is still stumping is though! We have our local bee expert coming to help us next week so hopefully we can figure out what their strange bee-haviour is all about! #BeeTheBest

Phew it was a bit of a warm one for Bee Club today! 🔥 All our bee keepers did a fantastic job. Lots of brood after a few weeks of difficulty with swarms and queenless hives. Fingers crossed we will soon have four strong hives. #BeeClub #BeeTheBest

Another super bee club tonight! #BeeTheBest

Our new group did a super job for their first time in bee keeping club! We had a check through each hive and found out we might need two new queens as we think two of the hives were queenless. #NorbridgeBees #BeeTheBest

We also managed to capture a short video of the queen emerging from a queen cell before all the busy worker bees took over in feeding and cleaning her.

On Friday, we had a fantastic bee club. We currently have three hives as we managed to retrieve the swarm from last Monday. We may use this swarm to strengthen one of our existing hives. #BeeClub
