For Day 28 of NATM we would like to highlight the Richardson Eagles Sports Medicine Program! Not only does this program provide a space for students to be involved and feel welcome, but they take a lot of pride for being there whole heartedly for their teams! @SportsMedEagles

Maybe sudden cardiac arrest seems rare b/c you saw an NFL player collapse on national TV & heard the son of an NBA star collapsed at basketball practice. Both were saves.
Did you know 440 high school athletes died in 22 years, many from cardiac arrest

To the awesome AT community, can we please stop sharing infographics that list dry skin/no sweating as a sign of exertional heat stroke. This is not accurate and could result in missed dx. CNS dysfunction and core temp (assessed via rectal temp) >105F are the key dx criteria
