Too many egos and too much pride involved in the Hawks/Dons trade to get a deal done, when both clubs should have been looking for win-wins. Merrett wanted out for months- surely enough time to agree on a framework. Petroro made a fool of himself too when cooler heads were needed

@thepumper5 Of course. But in the end, his job is surely to get the most out of the players he has. I think it’s pretty clear that he’s not doing that and hasn’t for some time.

I know nothing about this guy but I’m a huge fan of these sort of signings by A-League clubs. Could be a gem and bring in transfer $. Hope it works out
