@RCFarquhar @chrislongwort @jamesaknight I’m going off the bha rules…ridersonthestorm an example where wasn’t allowed. “it may not be cancelled and the horse will not be permitted to run.” This is tied to Rule (F)97 and Schedule (F)7 and is not limited to post-final declarations.

🚨 BREAKING: Aidan O'Brien has stated that Gstaad and Albert Einstein were removed from the 2,000 Guineas due to an administrative error arising from a computer glitch. The trainer is still working to try and get both colts reinstated. O'Brien said: "There was a blip on the computer. Something happened, the computer went bananas and took out a couple of horses that weren't meant to be taken out. We are hoping to get them back in and could do with a bit of common sense being applied. The people here in the office were trying to take the horses out of the Dante, but the Guineas flashed up instead and that button was pressed. "They were pressing for the Dante but as they were pressing the Guineas flashed up. They weren't meant to be taken out of the Guineas and we are working on getting them back in."

@nialltierney25 Someone making a mistake is not enough. The volume of bets that would’ve been placed when the scratchings happened. You can’t just reverse. Pretty sure it happened to Richard Hobson, was scratched and within hours they rang to reverse and wasn’t allowed. Was fave for big handicap

@Ben_Simpo You'd assume Ben that due to the fact there is no issue and it's an 'administrative error' I'd say they'll be let back in. Rules are rules when they are followed correctly. I'd be confident enough the BHA will make an exception
