Arrived back from LA with Khanada, and can’t help but feel grateful. Really a full-circle moment for me, helping coach a championship after all these years. I haven’t had an extended stay in LA since I was 19, and seeing so many old friends thrive is really incredible. I’ve honestly never felt this inspired in my life. I’m a super self-critical person, but starting Esports as a coach at 14 to now being one of the most successful talent, content, and marketing directors in the space, I’ve felt proud of myself for the maybe the first time ever. For any brand to work, sacrifice needs to take place. For the last four years I’ve been living with the talent, and have had the privilege of seeing them all grow up. I’m working 7 days a week, 14-16 hours a day and truly I’ve loved every moment of it. For me, it’s been super hard to craft my own identity because all of my success over my career hasn’t been mine. Being behind the scenes, I’ve always focused on the bigger picture for others at the expense of what’s best for myself. As a kid you dream big, but over time you settle for the environment you’re in rather than where you want to be. A good friend/mentor (@kyu_lee26) reminded me this past two weeks to keep living life without fear of failure, even as an adult. For the first time in my career I’ve had so many people behind me. Twizz, Stack, and BenK have legitimately forced me to host this DIG Podcast. Aussie trusting me to be in front of 50K+ viewers during grands, I’ve gained more followers the past 2 weeks then in the last 5 years. We have so many insane things on the horizon for you guys. Thank you all for the support. 💜

Just want to say @VicterV_ deserves so much credit for the performance in finals. Game 1 alone he clutched nearly 50 points as a solo. All tournament long he was ON FIRE. If there was ever an MVP to give during and FNCS he would be my pick for West!

We aren’t going to reset FNCS Major 1. It's too far along with the current participants. Reload Elite Series starts next Friday with finals May 17.

We've realized there is legit confusion on whether Fortnite competitive rules allow for use of drop calculators, which have evolved from being static web sites to real-time tools connected to the game you’re in. This confusion stems from the current phrasing of our prohibition: "Using any kind of cheating device, program, or similar cheating method to gain a competitive advantage” from our official FNCS rules. We'll be updating this to reinforce that these devices, programs, and methods are prohibited if they have any access to the real-time state of the game being played (e.g. through memory, screen recording, screenshots, audio, network traffic, files, overlays). This will include overlays that feed real-time screen information from the Fortnite client to competitive advantage analysis tools. Whereas things like informational web pages that don't access the current game state are ok. Given the confusion on this, disqualification of these players was a mistake and the DQs will be removed from their record. The bad news: due to the tournament timing, the lobbies are now full for this event and it's too late for them to continue in the current tournament. I get this Chat GPT 2.0 image feature is strong, but every single poster it's made looks identical in placement of logos, text, layout etc. It's so easy to see that it's made by AI. Anyone using this feature will get clowned on into oblivion. Pay artists.

a product team REMOVING an entire feature of communication for creators without consulting with the largest creators and users of the feature is poor decision making. they clearly made this decision by looking at quantitative gross usage metrics — vs — qualitative metrics of WHO actually DOES use it and the depth of the features importance to these users. this is a not an update to a feature. this is not an upgrade. this is a removal of a core function to some of the largest creators in the world and a 🖕 to their communities. Disappointing — hope theres enough noise that @nikitabier and team open their door to hear it.
