The way Zarah Sultana was treated by Good Morning Britain's hosts and panellists this morning was nothing short of appalling. Ask tough questions – she's used to it! – but the sneering and constant interrupting when she was trying to talk about the realities of racism and Islamophobia as the only person of colour on set came across as completely callous and tone-deaf.

Here’s you standing in front of a lectern with the words that are now a fascist slogan…spare me your shock.

@Matthew_Hodson I highly recommend watching the Follow This episode 'Intersex' on Netflix. Intersex people are a natural, biological fact - being intersex is as common as having red hair - but we're still not talking/teaching about them. Why? Because of our society's dependence on the binary.

What’s the basis for this ‘children are being taught there are 72 genders’? It sounds like it’s just scaremongering nonsense. Is there any truth in it? Any child or parent who experienced it? Genuine question.
