There is simply no way or no reasonable explanation why this was a red card 4 days ago and it isn’t now. We’ll never know why because of some moral imperative that referees are never asked to explain these decisions

So let’s get this right, the additional one game ban for Harry Maguire comes down to the word of one person? No other evidence?… Basically Harry’s word against the 4th officials and the complaint has been upheld?! Mental!!! 🤬 Rodri gave a TV interview calling out the PGMOL labelling them corrupt and he’s free to keep playing/fouling opponents week in week out without any comeback?! 🤣

It’s a Kangaroo court! There are multiple examples of more forceful pulls of the hair not resulting in red cards, where PGMOL have backed the decision of “no red card” as the pulls were deemed “not forceful enough” … upholding this decision stinks of authoritarianism and not fairness!

AI won’t take your job. Yes, something big is happening. But the way it’s being projected doesn’t make sense Think about it logically. If AI replaces everyone’s jobs, unemployment shoots up. If people lose jobs, they lose income. If they lose income, consumption drops. If consumption drops, businesses suffer. If businesses suffer, they cut spending , including on AI and tech. An economy can’t function without purchasing power. Total job elimination would collapse demand, and without demand, automation itself loses value. So the AI replaces everyone narrative ignores how economies actually work. What’s more realistic is what has always happened with technology. When mobile phones became common, STD booths disappeared. When home internet became affordable, cyber cafés declined. When ATMs expanded, some cashier roles reduced but banking overall grew. When e-commerce rose, certain retail formats shrank but logistics, warehousing, performance marketing, and D2C brands exploded. AI will definitely replace certain repetitive, rule-based tasks: Basic data entry Simple customer support scripts Low-level content templating Manual reporting But it will also expand roles that require: Judgment Trust Negotiation Creativity Context awareness Relationship building For example: A hotel chain expanding via franchise needs people to build trust with property owners. Sales conversations, local politics, negotiation dynamics, that’s human territory. A D2C founder can use AI to analyze data, write drafts, or forecast demand. But brand positioning, storytelling, supplier relationships, influencer partnerships, those need instinct and lived experience. In healthcare, AI can assist diagnosis, but a patient still wants reassurance from a doctor. In law, AI can summarize case files, but courtroom persuasion and strategy are human. AI will make work faster, smoother, and more efficient. It will remove friction. But it won’t end everything because the world is messy. Human behaviour is irrational. Trust is emotional. Decisions are rarely purely logical. The world is too complex to automate fully.
