This is the 85th technology transfer of BCIL, 34th technology transfer during the last 4.5 years as a TTO under DBT-BIRAC’s National Biopharma Mission (NBM).

The licensing event took place in the gracious presence of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Director of Research, Project Director, TRPVB, Dr. Purnima Sharma, Managing Director of BCIL and other faculty at TANUVAS

The technology has been developed by Dr. Azhahianambi Palavesam, & team, under the guidance of Dr. K G Tirumurugaan, Project Director, TANUVAS and transferred to M/s Brilliant Biopharma Private Limited, Hyderabad.

This technology involves a mechanical acaricide based formulation for controlling ticks in companion animals and cattle. Funded by Department of Biotechnology's extramural grant, this technology addresses the aforementioned complications via its unique composition.
