I’m not really sure what everyone who doesn’t like the trade was thinking they were going to get from a D with a career bad season, needs a new contract, and didn’t crack playoffs games. I think the fact that it was a first round move up instead of just like a 2nd/3rd round pick has people feeling different but if he wasn’t signing that’s about as damn much as you can get. 20 to 27 also feels like nothing but that’s a different draft bracket of players if they keep it.
