Just a friendly reminder, using newer reprints of cards that are already legal standard is allowed in the rules under section 4.1.3 - Reprinted Cards in the Standard & Expanded Formats.

@Catscollecttcg @PocketBrookeTCG It’s because the card is technically not on shelves by the time we get to Houston, the rule being discussed here is correct but the stipulation is that the card must be fully released. Prereleases don’t count.

Couldn’t find the cards for Banette but had a Friday night League Cup so I built ELITE Grimmsnarl. Arven is mid, Poke Pad is BROKEN!! ASC format is chopped, back to Slay the Spire 2!

Guys please do not bork your run at houston by playing non ASC pokepads. Its a competitive event for money, if you think someone wouldn't take a free win because you couldn't spend a couple extra bucks on the correct card then you trolling. I would 100% call a judge on my opponent on a win n in if they played a card that was explicitly not allowed.

@BlueOrbJC I feel ya brother been telling my friends since day one not to snake dpls and play honest I was just wondering. Also I don’t think a single judge will actually go out of their way over a Pokepad reprint anyways

@IamActuallyLvL1 Bans are overrated. Riftbound is such a new game that it doesn't make sense to even think of banning anything until the game has been around for a year and has a larger card pool
