No more excuses. We spent more than Republicans & we lost every key demographic that was supposed to save us. Populism or bust. Corporate monopolies & ultraglobalization have gutted communities and human dignity. Smart tariffs, subsidies, antitrust, labor & fire in the belly.

I don't have to explain why that is such a bad idea - who made that call Jen O’Malley Dillon. The Texas staff was Latino - Florida has Latino outreach needs - she thought it was a fit. Where as the cuban mayor of Miami was showing specific ways of how to microtargeted tailoring language for the various Cuban, Puerto Rican, Dominican and even Haitian microtargets.

Newsom will do anything to be anti-Trump, whether or not it makes sense. EVs made up 0.03% of sales when subsidies started in 2010; CA subsidized EV sales with $3.6B. Now they are 25% of sales & we should not subsidize them... Price is not the limiting factor to purchase.

There's a belief that early success can lead to complacency and a lack of adaptability. When a particular method works once, it’s tempting to assume it will always be effective. I've noticed this mindset is quite common in the campaign consulting world. Interestingly, I've observed the Republican side tends to adapt their methods more quickly. Ironically, they often have a better grasp of minority micro-targeting than we do, not just using the right language but even tailoring it to the specific dialect of that language.

In addition to knowing nothing about the state- the boundaries, the advocates, the leadership=Spanish from Latin America is different from the Caribbean Conversely, the Latino Republican mayor of Miami spoke openly about what they got right. They understood the diverse community well

Let me share a story about why I was always a little skeptical about Jenn even before I found out she was one of the leakers in the management of President messenging we had one of the worse messenging problems In 2020 she brought in operatives from Texas to run Florida basically saying something like well they are latino
