@seanpureDFS @CatRedFront We don’t believe that we can kill children. That’s typically what leftists and atheists do though. 😂

I don’t particularly dislike islam over other religions but honestly I rarely see christians claiming their religion is progressive or whatever nor do I regularly see leftists getting mad at others for calling christianity reactionary

@seanpureDFS @CatRedFront Uh huh. The flood was God’s judgement against evil, and is presented as a necessary action that God took to set humanity back on a course that makes their salvation and restoration to Paradise possible. It’s not relevant to human politics since we aren’t God. It’s a cheap shot.

@BluntObserver @CatRedFront uneducated are the ones that believe in made up stories written 2000 years ago and have never questioned them their entire lives. Are you implying the great flood is a made up story?

@psilynt @thisissky0 @AgedReference @nocontextmemes matter the possible state of affairs, then that wrongness must apply to all possible people, even if they disagree. This is actually one way philosophers sometimes justify objective morality: reductio ad absurdem, or the absurdity of the contrary.

@seanpureDFS @CatRedFront It took you just two tweets to reveal that you are an uneducated, anti-religious bigot. Impressive. So do you have any substantive to say, or are you just gonna cry about a Bible story?

@psilynt @thisissky0 @AgedReference @nocontextmemes The theist is trying to argue that objective morality can only be grounded in a being that we know of as "God." If morality is just like taste in food, then there would be nothing to explain. Maybe you misunderstand where the theist is coming from.

@seanpureDFS @CatRedFront I can mispresent secularism and assert that your beliefs aren't reasonable either. That doesn't get us anywhere. Be honest, you're just an anti-religious bigot.

@BluntObserver @CatRedFront Your religion's morality had your god kill millions of children in a mass flood. Utter stupidity to even reason with you

@thisissky0 @AgedReference @nocontextmemes That does seem to be the case. Have you looked around outside your rock? People aren't discovering 'moral truths' by sitting in an armchair and navel gazing. People do, in fact, disagree. Saying morality is subjective is just descriptive.

@CatRedFront Of course it's not, it's the converse of what you said. If religious beliefs shouldn't guide my political choices, who's beliefs should?

I don’t even mind people being religious and socialist. You can be religious if you want!!! It’s your choice!! But once your religion starts bleeding into your politics we have a problem.

@rswarren27 @BradleyDoss18 @PavlovicNBCS "Being gay" as an orientation may not be a sin, but gay sex is. Not only does the Bible teach that, but it can be demonstrated by natural reasoning. Truth isn't bigoted.

@BradleyDoss18 @PavlovicNBCS Does your religion teach you that being gay is morally wrong? Does it teach that being gay is inherently sinful and will lead you to going to hell? The Vice President came saying that holding those beliefs is ok because Trump won. You are not a victim even if you are a snowflake.

Buster Posey said the Giants have discussed Pride Night internally, did not want to discuss it publicly. Asked several times, he circled back to only taking baseball questions. Posey: “Our focus is on the team, the draft, the trade deadline and trying to win games.”

@JingIesss @UnknownFace0000 @killinyouhaux @big_business_ God creates and gives. Badness decreates and takes away existence. This decreation can either be a choice by the free agent themselves (humans, heavenly creatures), like in voluntary infertility, or it can be a privation that we inherit by the free act of humans before us.

@JingIesss @UnknownFace0000 @killinyouhaux @big_business_ That Christian belief is based on what badness is. Badness involves an absence of creation that should be there. Just like darkness is merely the absence of light, so too is badness a lack of being that should be there. It, like darkness, doesn’t exist in itself.

@SrArcano2 @U28760Nu @EliGibson220188 @Mugmugcup5 @AngelicaDevine_ morality even as a property, that therefore we don’t. But that is a textbook fallacy of composition. If you have to deny morality in general in order to defend gay sex, then you may want to rethink gay sex before adopting an absurd view.
