We bow out of the SNCL Div1 Cup after a loss at @WoodfordHalseCC. They chased down our 141 with 4 wkts and 5 balls to spare. A good game and we wish them well in the final they’re hosting tomorrow.

We’re in semi final action tomorrow with the winners of the game playing the winners of Banbury Lions vs Finmere on Sunday.

For the record the Barlow XI won and after the game Barl was presented with an engraved decanter and glasses to thank him for his service. A super day, the spirit of village cricket at its best.

Great to see them especially Maurice, Bunts and Bucks who travelled a long way to attend and PT who showed he’d lost none of his flamboyance despite not playing for 15 seasons.

Yesterday we played a Bodicote vs S Barlow’s XI to commemorate our club secretary’s 50th season playing for the club since his debut in 1975. There was a good turnout of past and present players with some of the oldies not having played for years.

Todays T20 Semi against Woodford Halse is unsurprisingly off. Forecast is brighter for our game tomorrow, Bodicote vs SBarlow XI to commemorate our secretary’s 50th season playing for the club.
