For the NCAA, a narrow eligibility bill is the way to go. It also has a chance to actually pass.
Transfer limits are an issue (and yes, Tuberville is a comical advocate due to his constant job changes as a coach) but this is where the debate should be.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville introduced a new, narrow college sports bill today. It would set eligibility limits at a max of 5 consecutive years to play 5 consecutive seasons. It also allows athletes to transfer one time, any additional transfers requires sitting out a year.

The transfer portal has screwed up college sports.
My bill is simple: you get 5 consecutive years to play 5 seasons and you get 1 transfer.
After that, if you transfer again, you sit out a year.
This will fix 80% of the issues in NIL today.

Resetting the shot clock to 30 in the front court is a gigantic waste of time and only makes the game longer with fewer possessions.
