Tell your Ronaldo that if the midfielders are not progressing the play, he should come into the middle and help in the build up to move the team into the opposition half, that is what Messi does every match. You can't continue comparing Ronaldo to Messi while Ronaldo keeps staying around the box waiting for crosses, and Messi drops into midfield to play with the midfielders and start attacking moves.
