It broke inside the back where you adjust the headstrap. Basically only one side would tighten so it would sit on my head crooked. As far as using a quest 3 headstrap goes I disassembled the back part with the battery in it and separated it from the headstrap. Then I cut off basically everything behind the speakers leaving the battery attached. The quest 3 headstrap is held on with heavy duty velcro adhesive which was supposed to be temporary but it refuses to die.i also used zip ties and hockey tape to attach the battery to the new headstrap. ... It's kind of a lot.
