Generally speaking, 2D games with traditional hand-drawn animation >>> 3D models on a 2D plane. You can disagree, but every counter-example you can give would either be the few rare exceptions, or look fine, but would look straight-up better hand-animated.

@Nuk1te If they don't go the Cinematic Universe route and make it a standalone movie (as they SHOULD) that isn't a problem! They could get the Zelda movie actors to do the voices if they want, but they wouldn't be limited by the movies that get made (which is good for Ness & C. Falcon)

@NerdiestNic That would be neat! Although with game dev, it's a "which came first" question. Might be there's a game in the works they will want attention on. It also may be a way to gauge interest if Miyamoto is pushing for Star Fox as the next Illumination/Nintendo film behind-the-scenes.

@Nuk1te I DO think Smash can be done on film. But the lore of the games is that it's a Nintendo fan smashing his action figures together, NOT a canonical crossover of universes. It's not The Avengers! It's The Lego Movie! I still think Star Fox and Pikmin movies are in the cards next tho

@Nuk1te I'm sure he'll only be in 1 scene for 1 joke. Something like "I found a ship to take us across the galaxy!" "Oh, that one?" *pans to impressive pilot and ship* "No, that one!" *pans to junky Captain Toad ship*. But if this is treated as the start of an "NCU", then I am 100% out!

Seeing clips from the Tomodachi Life demo seems the makeup system is just as powerful as Miitopia (possibly more). But if I were to stream Living the Dream using fellow VTubers like Miitopia, I would need them to be 167% on board for whatever potentially awkward stuff it cooks up

Stream over! I BEAT THE GAME! I had fun! Shooters still aren't my genre, and some of the mechanics felt a little unrefined (sequels probably improve), plus I was fighting a controller with drift. Otherwise, it was a fun pulpy action game, if a bit standard and trope-y.

I'll be live on youTube in a half hour with more of "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune". The chapters say I'm 10 levels in, and there's 22 total, so whether this is a 2 or 3 stream game depends on how long and difficult the back half of it is I suppose. (Or how bad at it I am, lol)

Stream over! Made it up to the sumo match against the mayor, and got a lot of footage! Also, first time I've played the HD version, and it's better than the OG, but it's still very much Twilight Princess. Afterwards we raided @The_Space_Pingu!
