I would like to sincerely and unreservedly apologize to @Julius_S_Malema and his family for the hurtful and damaging statements I previously made. Upon deep reflection, I recognize that my words were not only inappropriate but also unfair, and I deeply regret the pain and distress they may have caused both personally and publicly. I take full responsibility for my actions and acknowledge that what I said may have negatively affected Mr. Malema’s reputation, as well as brought unnecessary attention and discomfort to his family. No individual or family deserves to be subjected to such harm, and I am truly sorry for crossing that line. Over time, I have taken the opportunity to reflect on my behavior and the broader consequences of my words. This experience has been an important lesson in accountability, empathy, and respect. I have come to understand that public figures, despite their visibility, are still human beings with families who can be deeply affected by what is said about them. I regret not considering this before making my statements. I want to make it clear that I am committed to personal growth and to ensuring that I do not repeat such actions in the future. I am actively working on being more mindful, respectful, and responsible in how I express myself, especially when it involves others. Once again, I extend my heartfelt apology to Julius Malema and his family, and I sincerely hope that, in time, they may find it possible to accept my apology and see the genuine remorse behind it. In closing all the posts about honourable @Julius_S_Malema will be deleted, I am making an oath that I can never ever mention his name again.

No one is denying apartheid was unjust Herman. The problem is what you do with that history now. Your statement suggests nothing white South Africans do today can carry moral weight because the past can never be balanced. That leaves no path to shared citizenship, only permanent identity politics. We are 30 years into democracy, yet leaders, like yourself, still frame society through race. Policies and social constructs are repeatedly built around racial categories, often poorly thought through and pushed politically, and it keeps the country stuck arguing about identity instead of fixing education, safety, jobs and economic growth. Young South Africans today need opportunity, functioning institutions and accountability, not inherited guilt on one side and inherited grievance on the other. When your political messaging continually emphasizes race, it deepens division and hardens group thinking instead of building a common future. That is why I would not vote for your party. South Africa needs equal citizenship and practical solutions, not permanent racial framing in politics.

We are being insulted again. Even if 100% of White South Africans had voted to end apartheid wouldn’t make up for the pain and grief the system inflicted on majority of South Africans. Let’s just accept that apartheid was a crime against humanity and shouldn’t have been there in the first place. The National Party didn’t end apartheid because they had developed good caring hearts. Apartheid ended because it was an Evil unsustainable system.

Have you ever BOTHERED to ask older white people how they experienced apartheid? If they KNEW what was going on ? If they were SCARED of the government ? If it made them HAPPY to be separated from other groups? LIKELY NOT. Why, because it might change your perspective ? Or maybe you prefer your narrative unchallenged ? Maybe you just need someone to blame because you feel your life isn't so great, and it's easier just to blame an ENTIRE ethnic group, no matter how bigoted that is. What's worse is if you seek to portray yourself as tolerant and wish to understand the world and history but in this matter you are purely obstinate. Maybe you have a need to hold on to HATE, because it's the only way to soothe the pain you feel. I am still disappointed and deeply hurt for being deceived to think that there is open dialogue. That seeking to foster understanding would become reciprocal. I was wrong it seems. You cannot force someone to distance themselves from their deep prejudice. And if this person is you, then you are in fact A RACIST. .... And this is the reason for my decision to distance myself from politics... If there is a BLUNT REFUSAL to understand what ACTUAL CITIZENS experienced, what is the point of even trying to reason with the far left.

Comparing an entire population to an abused child removes individual agency and turns trauma into a convenient moral shield, beyond criticism, accountability, or debate. History can explain context, but it can’t justify indefinite moral exemption. And attempting to frame my comment as a lack of empathy isn’t logic, it’s avoidance, and it perfectly illustrates South Africa’s ongoing refusal to engage honestly with responsibility and reciprocity.
