As we highlighted in our submission to the Senate Inquiry into the Migration Amendment Bill 2024, Australia’s policy of offshore detention has caused significant harm since its beginning and compounds trauma for people who’ve already faced serious risk or harm.

We stand with the @humanrightsHRLC, @OzRefugeeCounc and other refugee and human rights advocates in condemning the passage into law of three migration bills, which will have major consequences for the lives, rights and safety of refugees, people seeking asylum and communities.

🚩🚩 We urgently need your help. The Government is rushing a package of three Bills through Parliament that would have disastrous impact on tens of thousands of people. Before these Bills are considered by the Senate on Wed, please email/call your Senators and tell them: VOTE NO.
