@CB_Edge Great to see DAM still publishing (and hopefully also enjoying his retirement!). Dave was my MScF supervisor at UNB and I learned so much from him.

From 1952-1993 one of the worlds largest aerial pesticide application programs occurred in New Brunswick, Canada. During the program 97% of forested land (6.2 million ha) in New Brunswick was treated. The dataset is now online and open access. esajournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.100…

@CB_Edge @ciee @CFS_Science_ATL Any advice on where to find data on area sprayed since 1993?

A fun project that involved fantastic collaborators across two levels of government and academia. The project would not have been possible without help from the @ciee living data project and @CFS_Science_ATL

The hope is making these data available will help future studies on environmental fate, ecosystem recovery, and legacy effects.

@drtightline 35 is pretty short. The shortest rotation length is probably 40-50 years on crown. There will be a lot of variation though.

@CB_Edge are NB crown lands managed for a cut every 35 years???
