HABEMUS PAPAM! We have a Pope! Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost has been elected as the 267th pope of the Catholic Church, taking the name Pope Leo XIV! 🇻🇦🙏

Habemus Papam!

As the Cardinals gather in conclave to elect a new Pope, we join the Church in prayer. 🕊️ May the Holy Spirit guide them with wisdom and courage, and may the new pontiff be a shepherd of justice, dignity and peace.

O God, who set Saint Catherine of Siena on fire with divine love in her contemplation of the Lord’s Passion and her service of your Church, grant, through her intercession, that your people, participating in the mystery of Christ, may ever exult in the revelation of his glory.

The Lord watches over us, the Church remains in God's hand. Let us pray fervently that the Cardinals will be guided by the Holy Spirit in this process of discernment they are now going through.

As we mourn the loss of Pope Francis, @frmikeschmitz encourages us to pray and trust in the Lord.

We pray for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis. May he, and all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
