The Ethiopian Electric Power Research and Development Center Project, built by CCECC, has reached a major construction milestone with the structural topping-out of its main building—the largest office building within the development. Located in Addis Ababa, the project has a site area of approximately 150,000 m², with a gross floor area of around 120,000 m². Throughout construction, the team optimized planning through BIM modeling and leveraged digital platforms to support integrated project management. Close collaboration between Ethiopian and Chinese teams, supported by bilingual technical briefings and joint safety inspections, has ensured steady progress.

Looking back on the moments that shaped CCECC’s journey in 2025. On June 19, the Magufuli Bridge in Tanzania, constructed by CCECC, officially opened to traffic. Spanning 4.66 kilometers with a four-lane dual carriageway and a design speed of 120 km/h, the bridge features a 520-meter, three-tower extradosed main span built using the balanced cantilever method. The bridge’s pylons are uniquely designed to resemble open arms stretching across Lake Victoria, while its color scheme—green, blue, and gold—draws inspiration from the Tanzanian national flag, symbolizing both national identity and regional openness.
