CCI’s Barbie float was a success last night at the Cobourg Santa Claus Parade. All along the parade route we heard “Hi, Barbie! Hi, Ken”!! We were also privileged to hand out over 100 CCI toques for the community to stay warm this winter. Go, Wolves, Go!!

Today we celebrate World Teachers’ Day! We are fortunate to have amazing teachers who inspire students to excel in learning, succeed in life and enrich our communities. KPR educators, your passion, hope, curiosity and innovation are truly appreciated.

October 4 is a day of action dedicated to honouring the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and Two-Spirit people. We recognize the violence that continues to impact these communities disproportionately and seek to learn more & bring an end to these injustices.

On National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour all the children and families impacted by the residential school system and recognize the trauma that continues to be felt. At KPR, our learning and conversations about Truth & Reconciliation continue every day, all year.

Summer school is in full swing with our dual credit and exploring tech students creating some fantastic food with CCI’s Chef Andrade & Chef Ron from Loyalist College!

Summer school begins on Monday, July 3rd. Anyone who has registered for summer school will receive a call from their teacher this weekend with start up details. Those still needing to register should come into the Guidance Office on Monday. @kprschools
