Every October, for the last nine years, we dive headfirst into our catcher-specific off-season training. It's our own demanding spring training, and it fuels my love for catching. We push boundaries, experiment, and learn from our mistakes. By February, we're ready to chase our goals: solidifying our place in our programs and becoming the defensive leaders our pitching staffs need. We constantly remind our catchers that they hold the key to daily defensive impact. It's bittersweet when the high school season starts. I'm thrilled to see their hard work pay off, but I'l miss their daily energy. Go get'em, men!
