An enjoyable days rugby was had by our Year 8 boys at the South Devon rugby tournament. Some great rugby was played and massive improvements made. #cfgspe

A successful afternoon for the Year 7 Boys Rugby at the Year 7 cluster tournament this afternoon. Lots of progress made and tries scored. The boys are coming together nicely as a team, winning 2, drawing 2 and losing 1 gam. #cfgspe

We are delighted to announce that the U12s football team won the South Devon Cup and are now the regional champions. They beat a strong Torquay Boys team 5-3 in an excellent final at Coach Road. A great advert for school football and fantastic experience for all.

This week @CFGS hosted the annual Larter Cup 🏆. The U18s played some brilliant rugby against @KCCPE and two teams from @TBGS_PhysEd (Y12 and Y13), taking a very respectable 3rd place🥉. Well done gents! 👏🏼 🏉

U14s 3rd round Sisters in Sport Netball Cup v @ExeterSchoolUK School… Final Score 40-25! A very competitive game from both teams, an end to end game with some brilliant defensive pressure + shooting. Player of the match was Maisie and coaches player was Elsie. On to Round 4!👏🏼

The @CFGS U15 boys cricket team had a great day at the South Devon indoor @DevonCricket tournament at @PaigntonPE. Unfortunately the boys didn’t progress to the county finals, but they played some excellent cricket and played with great attitudes. Well done. 🏏 👏🏼

What a day for @CFGS sport… Forget Super Saturday, it’s Magnificent Monday! The U13 boys overcome stiff opposition with some fluid attacking rugby and some dogged defence to win the @StoverSchool Cup! The team won 4 and drew 1. Well done boys! 🏉 🏆

The @CFGS U15 Girls took 3rd place 🥉 at the South Devon indoor cricket event this week, winning 3 of their 4 matches, only losing narrowly by 3 runs against Teign. Outstanding performances from everyone in the team, well done girls. 🏏 👏🏼

The @CFGS year 11 boys’ cup run came to an end when when they were knocked out at the semi final stage against @CoombesheadNST this afternoon 0-15. This came after an excellent win against TBGS in the quarter-final a couple of weeks ago 15-5. Well done boys. 👏🏼 🏉

Great news for the @CFGS U14 Netballers at the South Devon Qualifiers for National Schools. 5 games played and 5 games won convincingly! They now move onto the next round of Devon qualifiers at the beginning of December. Strong performances throughout. Well done and good luck!🏆

The @CFGS U13 football team battled hard against a physically strong TA team. Really proud of their performance, but it was a 7-3 defeat in the end. Our player of the match, chosen by TA was Sienna. We wish @TorquayAcademyS the very best in the next round and the season ahead

The @CFGS U13 rugby team played some outstanding rugby at the inner Torbay cluster tournament. The boys showed fantastic character to come back from losing positions twice to win two games out of three. The best rugby this group has played! Lots to come from this great bunch 👏🏼

The @CFGS U16 girls have qualified through to the next round of the national schools competition, following 5 games against some incredible opposition. They listened, kept their cool under pressure and dug deep to pull out wins when needed. Good luck in the next round girls!

An outstanding performance on the rugby field saw our @CFGS Yr 9 boys rugby team run out as comfortable winners against Spires on Wednesday afternoon. Keep an eye out for this talented group as they take on the 10s tournament next week in peak form.

An awesome battling performance from the @CFGS U15 rugby team this afternoon against a strong @TBGS_PhysEd team. Despite 3 fantastic tries from Ollie (2) and Toby, TBGS proved too strong and ended up comfortable winners progressing into the next round. Well done to all involved.

Brilliant game for the U13 girls in the first round of the @SchoolsFootball cup against Teignmouth. The girls showed excellent levels of skill throughout the game, winning 5-0. Special mention to our two Yr 7’s, Bess and Olivia, who made their debut for the U13 team. Well done!
