@thesunabove1 Why would they, we have things called bi cycles.

I went to a state school.
I used to be against private schools. I used to think they were toffs & people who thought they were better than us.
Then I matured.
I now realise that in the main, the people who send their kids to one are just normal folk who have decided to prioritise best education for their children and often make significant sacrifice to do so. Alongside this, they also help fund the state education system, which they don’t use.
Whatever problems state schools face, it certainly isn’t as a result of private schools. If anything, kids going private eases pressure on the state system.
The closure of these schools are utterly tragic for the kids affected.
The policy attempts to damage the private system are an act of societal self-harm.
Anyone who celebrates it, is frankly, a fool.

@DrDStarkeyCBE Jacob is wrong, we already have institutionally stupid people running the country, otherwise why would our GDP/Capita be falling behind Poland within a few years.

If Enoch Powell’s Rivers of Blood speech was the moment that the British establishment decided it would deal with concerns about immigration and multiculturalism by shutting people up, then the Macpherson report was the moment when that view became absolutely entrenched.
From then on, any disparities in outcome between different racial groups could only ever be explained by institutional racism, a ludicrous idea that has hamstrung us ever since.
Which of our politicians will be brave enough finally to denounce this and move away from it?

@SaP011 This is not unusual, particularly Muslim women not shaking hands.

@MarkHiggie2 Collect old films while you can, they could be short supply.

Is it any wonder that so many people don’t bother with the movies any more? The producers of ‘The Choral’ went to huge effort to recreate a small Yorkshire mill-town in 1916 - except in one important area. In terms of ethnic composition they make it look like modern urban Britain, which small town Yorkshire in 1916 obviously wasn’t. No character in the movie comments on what would have been very unusual at the time, let alone expresses racism, though we get plenty of prejudice against Germans and homosexuals. They might as well have allowed the appearance in the film of mobile phones.
It’s become standard practice for movie producers to depict Britain’s past as one of racial diversity in historic situations when it plainly didn’t exist. Adding to the oddity, the producers, part of a world which is usually so quick to see racism in Britain’s past, create an ideal world of racial harmony. It’s curious that ethnic minorities themselves don’t object to such ahistorical depictions.
Meanwhile woke reviewers even in the conservative media clearly feel it would be bad form to mention this issue. And many potential audience members feel that these days going to the movies is to subject themselves to a social engineering exercise.

@Geniustechw Years ago people would have sent him away with a flea in his ear.

@SunilSharmaUK The problem is, this is such a nice place to bring up children now, joke.

The UK has a population crisis. The system needs to change to encourage and support Brits having more children.
Importing people on a mass scale is not the answer.

Great to meet Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez in Madrid. At a time when too many leaders are looking the other way, it matters that we stand together. We discussed Gaza, Europe & the shared values that unite London & Spain. Progressive, internationalist politics is here to stay. 🇬🇧🇪🇸

@AndrewGold_ok @Emma_A_Webb As an over 80 year old, 30 years is not a long time. It will feel like a Muslim country long before this, we are already seeing appeasement to this group. That is if we carry on with the course we are on.

Emma Webb gives a chilling prediction about how soon Britain could become a Muslim country... 👀

@_A_khalifa Simple, the state is more interested in itself than the people it governs.

As a real Arab and Muslim
I don’t get why the hell Europeans
aren’t defending their own identity
culture, & way of life.
Why the hell are you letting some
immigrants change everything?
Why did you turn your countries
into a garbage dump for every loser
& terrorist from the Middle East?
Now even we can’t come as tourists
because of all the extremism and
violence.
Wake the fuck up and do something!

@AndrewGold_ok @joshxhowie I agree, we live in a country where the machinery of government does not work for the people, but a self interested clique. In doing so they are slothful, arrogant, sanctimonious and cowards to boot.
English

Day after day. It's the new normal. Almost no one cares. This post is pointless, as is @joshxhowie's. The winds have changed. Jews are not a fashionable minority. Islam - the 2-billion strong extreme ideology - is a very fashionable 'minority'.
Inshallah, Anne Hathaway.
It was never about helping minorities. It was about brute force, vast numbers and a willingness to murder others.
Unless something drastically changes (which didn't happen in Iran, Egypt, Lebanon or Afghanistan) they will win here too.

This man just tried to kill any Jewish people he could find in Golders Green. Two Jewish men have reportedly been stabbed, let’s pray for their survival.
