@ClanIHC An appropriate response would be an apology along with leasons learned. A reasonable compromise would have been to reset expectations that the deadline would move to Sunday at 5pm, given ST holders the chance to buy their seats. You have brought this grief on yourselves AGAIN!!!

STATEMENT: In response to the comments on social media regarding why the Season Ticket Holders deadline was brought forward for this Saturday’s Challenge Cup semi-final vs the Guildford Flames. The decision was taken to bring forward the deadline after more than 800 Season Ticket seats were unclaimed and yet, in the meantime, the club was being inundated with general sale ticket requests. With an incredibly low number of tickets sold between Thursday and Sunday, the decision was taken to bring forward the deadline, and 500 tickets have been sold in the 12 hours since. We’d like to thank the Purple Army for their incredible support as we look to achieve a sell-out for this important game. While we always aim to give fans every opportunity to buy a ticket, whether that be early bird prices, staggered payments, or discounted tickets, unfortunately, the overriding aim is to get as much support in the Arena as possible for every game. We’d like to stress this was a nonfinancial decision, evident in the ticketing pricing of £10 & £5, and was taken to give our players every possible sporting advantage to win the semi-final and hopefully progress to the first major final in the Clan’s history. We can understand that fans ideally would like to sit in their regular seats, however, we would like to highlight that there are currently 300 tickets left and we’d encourage anyone who is considering booking tickets, to do so soon for what is promising to be a fantastic atmosphere.   We have taken the response to this on board for future reference and we will re-evaluate our procedures regarding ticketing deadlines going forward.
