A snow emergency is being declared for Montgomery County to take effect at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24. Libraries, Rec Centers, Animal Shelter, ABS Stores, and MCPS Activities Closed/Canceled for Sunday, Jan. 25.

Today I introduced legislation to form a task force that will study the impacts of data centers in Montgomery County. Before considering any zoning proposals, we owe it to our community to fully understand the environmental, residential and utility-cost implications.

A Wheaton resident reached out after a commercial truck was parked for over a week on a residential street, blocking visibility for pedestrians. After the owner refused to move it, my team contacted MCPD’s Vehicle Recovery Section, and the truck was promptly relocated.
