Today at approximately. 1020 hrs, CSP recieved notification of a crash at the Lincoln County offices. This event is being handled by the Colorado State Patrol Limon Troop and our Vehicular crimes unit. We ask for prayers and respect the privacy of all involved.

H86 East of Kiowa is closed for a serious crash. Detour is in place. Please avoid the area. This investigation will take a few hours.

I-70 is closed between Burlington and Airpark. Up to a foot and a half of wet snow and moderate winds expected today.

Additional snowfall accumulations of 1-14" are expected across portions of eastern Colorado today-tonight. This is on top of what has already fallen. Once the snow starts, it will be continuous through tonight. Multiple impacts are likely. Travel into Colorado is not advised.

@CSP_Limon Is i70 westbound open or closed? I can tell from CDOTs website that eastbound is closed, but want to make sure westbound is good. My partners mom is driving into Denver and want to make sure she can actually make it
