For National Mentoring Month, some of the Connecticut Sun's front office staff participated in a breakout called Empowering Youth Through Sports and Education at the University of Hartford. Here, they encouraged educators to expose their students to the business side of sports.

Change Can't Wait 👏We partnered with Tow Youth Justice Institute for a social justice intensive that results in individual social justice projects. Morgan joined the Change Can’t Wait Fellowship for their session on Nonviolence Conflict Reconciliation with Khaiim Kelly.

And now let's take a look at our Sun Ray Advisory 👏🤩 We had Marina join kids in the community to talk about sports culture and the importance of giving back to your community, and then attend a mini clinic! We had athletes from Ledyard, Old Saybrook, and Norwich!

A look back at our last CT Sun Community Council ☀️ We had a dream team of community members, and fans came to have meaningful conversations around how they want to get involved in the community- from fundraising and volunteering, to events. The next meeting will be on 12/15!
