The newest bishop in the Anglican Communion is Renta Nishihara, the Dean of the College at Rikkyo University in Tokyo, a CUAC Trustee and now bishop, bringing new unity between the academy and the church. Bishop Renta is pursuing a dual career, continuing as dean.
