In courageously speaking her truth, Dolores Huerta gave voice to survivors and the voiceless. A relentless force for justice, her strength and courage in coming forward deserves to be met with the same unwavering solidarity she has shown others her entire life.
The California Endowment stands with Dolores.
We stand with Dolores and every survivor who has carried this weight — those who have spoken and those still finding their voice. Their stories matter. Their dignity matters.
We will continue to stand with the movement and all those who continue the fight for farmworker justice and dignity.

The California Endowment stands shoulder to shoulder with our community partners doing the work—from organizing peaceful protests to creating rapid response networks.
Powerful words from our CEO and President, Brenda Solórzano, during her #CalEndowLive late last year.

There are changes to Medicaid, known as MediCal, in California. Most MediCal members will not see changes. It is more important than ever to stay informed. The MediCal program helps keep our communities healthy. For babies, adults, families, and seniors, it covers doctors’ visits, hospital stays, dental or vision care, emergency services, and much more. #MediCalProtects

Uplifting the life and legacy of Harriet Tubman—the woman who escaped slavery, and made it her life's mission to help other enslaved people escape their "masters."

Women all over the world have been fighting for the rights our male counterparts were easily granted since the establishment of patriarchal society.
Our struggles are all interlinked, from the fight for bodily autonomy to wage gaps and education—today we celebrate and uplift women of the world.

A woman's right to vote didn't just come from white suffragettes—it came from the hard-fought battles of women of color.
During the decades of protests to get women the right to vote, women of color remained on the frontlines, despite the fact that many couldn't vote until the years after the 19th amendment was ratified. Today, we uplift their legacy.

On this day in 1968, the first day of the East LA Walkouts began.
During a time of increasing anti-war sentiment and civil activism, the walkouts were a turning point for Mexican-Americans who were seeking better, safer schools and a curriculum that reflected their identities.
While there weren't any immediate wins, this set the precedent for Chicano civil rights and would later culminate into other movements like the Chicano Moratorium.
