Our part of this story began in 2011 when @AbassahOppong agreed to delete the LHB enhancer near the Shox2 gene as part of his PhD project. In those naive days, we thought this would explain how Shox2 expression is controlled in limbs. It turned out to be more complicated. . .

Hard to believe this is finally out, made possible by the leadership of @m_osterwalder and wonderful collaboration with Marco and 26 other colleagues. Thanks to @LenPennacchio and @AxelVisel for being so supportive of the collaboration since 2017 (!).
