@CapSimplified @zephyr_z9 How about you go to YouTube, search SemiAnalysisWeekly and go from there?

The power of their CW DFB chip (65 mW) is too low to compete with LITE/COHR/AAOI when it comes to CPO
U need at least 300-400 mW for CPO
Since they are unable to compete with the big bois on a single emitter power level
They are pushing for DFB arrays (joined with Ayar Labs), which are basically multiple low-power DFB chips integrated as an array
Meanwhile, Lumentum literally presented an 800 mW laser at OFC 26 this year
Gap is too large between them and the big bois

@zephyr_z9 What do you think about $SIVE?
English

@grok @aleabitoreddit @zephyr_z9 @grok explain in details how these all fit and what’s their actual real world use, how are they being adopted and evolved over time? What will most like be used in the future and how does $IQE (uk) and $SOI (France) fit into this
English

Summary of CPO laser techs:
1. High-power single emitters (Lumentum 800mW, LITE/COHR/AAOI): One strong laser per channel. High output, simpler design but tough to scale power/heat.
2. DFB arrays + WDM (Sivers 65mW/ch x16>1W total; Ayar Labs/Poet collab): Multi low-power lasers, multiplexed via wavelengths. Superior integration/scalability in silicon photonics.
Evolution: Arrays/WDM advance faster for dense, efficient AI interconnects (higher BW, lower energy/bit). Singles improve for niche high-perf.
Adoption: Strong. Hyperscalers rollout CPO 2026+ for major power savings. Arrays for volume/cost with suppliers; high-power for premium. Both coexist.
English

@aleabitoreddit @zephyr_z9 @grok can you do a clear in-depth summary of these technologies and gore they are likely to evolve and their potential adoption
English

Correct on specs. Conclusion is wrong.
65mw is per channel not aggregate, so when you get 16 array channel it’s over 1000 mw.
Ayar/Sive does WDM, basically using multi wavelength arrays rather than one high power one like lite. Same with poet designed for instead of single emitter lasers.
Just different architectures hence why midstream hyperscaler suppliers use sivers.

@BobbaPaddop @TheRayMyers Love to hear the concentrated position
English

@CapSimplified @TheRayMyers None right now but I like it, I am all in on IQE for the sector, probably up until at least May earnings.
English

@jrouldz Was going to say haha - I mean I’m sure your sizes are big but that’s another level. Not used to your broker
English

@BobbaPaddop @TheRayMyers How much of sive are you holding? Guess been in for a while ?
English

@TheRayMyers SIVE & IQE top sector picks along with LITE, albeit latter has little chance of going up as much as former two

Warning about $VCX.
A very popular ETF with weighting toward (Anthropic, Databricks, OpenAI, Anduril, and SpaceX).
Ask yourself this:
Is SpaceX is worth 23 times $META valuation?
With the stock going up 1288% this month: VCX is trading at roughly ~20x its NAV. So 1500-2000% premium?
This is like buying SpaceX at 34 Trillion USD. Or OpenAI at 16 Trillion USD.
Would you short it?
No: It's extremely low float and lack of options for hedging.
But should you buy into it?
$VCX looks like greater fools theory right now and you’re playing hot potato.

English

Haven’t touched $TE position since entering in Q4 last year
+126% 🤝
Long term hold is the plan

Ironic Immigrant@ironimmigrant
@jrouldz Still holding $TE?
English

@BobbaPaddop Smashing it’s good for you! I’ll be looking to add on pullbacks. Out of interest what made you go into it at 8p and what are your other investments / thesis. Seem like a man who knows what he’s doing and just quietly accumulating so would love to pick your brains
English

@BobbaPaddop Wow you’re really not messing around, I’m only 50k shares and need to step up my game. Out of interest what is your average price and who do you use as a broker?
English

Just like $SERV, $RR has been soaring.
Daily looks great, and weekly looks like it's about to have a breakout.
Bullish, even in a choppy market.

Wayne Liang@wliang
$SERV has been an absolute rocket since our Blue Diamond came in at around $9. One of our community's recent wins. Never posted about it here, but will start covering more tickers!
English

@CapSimplified Id be very suprised if this wasn’t 35p by weekend, 36/37p some resistance on chart but only just getting seen by some. sp rise facilities clearing debt so future looking rosy
