This guy called me into his office and promised a new room for Illinois during my recruiting. I’ve been hearing this for YEARS.
I grew up in Huff during my Champaign kids club years, I love it. But too many broken promises. While at Iowa my dad wrote him about this issue too

Illinois AD Josh Whitman announced a wrestling training facility for the #Illini in Oct. 2022 but that project is now on hold: "Until we have some clarity around what this is going to look like, how we're going to pay for it, it felt like the prudent move to just hit pause"
