The problem isn't being a speculator, but selling yourself as something else. A few days ago, an account that bought some of my creations in 2021-2022 unfollowed me. I considered him more than just a speculator because he even shared my creations with his friends, and they bought them. It's very different from another guy I met who bought 10 of my NTFs and the next day was complaining because he couldn't sell them for double on the secondary market haha. For me, from the first day I decided to put my creations on the blockchain, I did so knowing that they would be immortalized and that real sales would come perhaps years after I am dead; having a sale now is a great blessing but not a constant desire.

A lot of NFT artists didn’t lose collectors. They lost speculators who were temporarily acting like collectors. That’s a very different thing. 🫶

It's an illusion. At first, I set a goal of 55,000 per day. Initially, it was almost impossible; I only managed to reach the goal with a tremendous amount of daily effort. Then I found a way to make 50,000 in an hour, 1 million in a day, then 2 million in a day. I thought, "Damn, I did it! I meet all the requirements X asks for to monetize." The longed-for day of the first payment arrived? Only excuses came, saying that even though I met the requirements, they weren't going to monetize me.

@Bijon_BB I got 9 million views in 2 weeks, and on payday they told me I hadn't been monetized... a few days later they said they'd changed the miraculous algorithm 😆 so I'm simply never trying again
