I'm a commission artist who's doing character model sheets that is getting me paid about 1,000 dollars. I told the guy to pay me up front before I start and they got down to it, I'm not gonna do work before I get paid. I'm sorry it happened to you, always ask for money first.

This is why commissioners require 50% or 100% of the payment before any work on the commission starts This is just an awful situation to be in.

i have deleted the original image i sent , which was a screenshot with watermarks up to that point you can see the messages that follows (i charged him the same for other banners i did for him aswell) the date of which he would have paid that was the last message he sent me
