Numbers provided by St. Louis Children's Hospital indicate the hospital is on pace to treat 91 gunshot injuries this year after 38 patients were treated through May. That pace would produce the highest number in 10 years.

Community meeting in North St. Louis was cancelled today. Gun violence is a huge problem in many communities throughout our state, including where I teach kids in St. Louis. I've worked with kids as young as 5 through losing a loved one to a bullet.
