Two-Spirit (gay and lesbian and trans) people have been living here in North America for thousands of years prior to the arrival of the white man. They even predate Christianity. Therefore, they have more right to be here than colonizing Christian immigrants. (And their descendants.) Agree? 🪶🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

My son is 15 I never bought him a pride onesie when he was a baby. I never read him a book that had two moms as part of the storyline. When he was little stores and businesses didn’t have LGBTQ+ displays and we didn’t celebrate pride month. He was raised Catholic, and went to church. Guess what? He is gay. The rainbow won’t make your kids gay. They are born that way. A display in a store won’t make your kid trans, they are born that way. If you don’t love and accept them for who they are, YOU are a shitty parent. They haven’t failed, you have.

So much this…. It’s painful to look at! As far as I know automatic alignment is an option in the majority of programs that people use to make figures. 🤓

@rossbiology We spend to much time teaching facts at students and not enough time engaging students in meaningful critical thinking activities.
