Alright! Update time! I still have to pay a really high energy bill, but the good news is that I’ve finally been given permission to move out, and I have until June 30 to find a new place! (I hope I manage to find something. I won’t let Rescue end up homeless again!!) For context, I’ve mentioned this several times on stream, but I’ve been living in an apartment with humidity and molds issues for over 2 years now. My landlord has never done anything about it. I did what I could to clean up the molds everytime, but it keeps coming back and has started to affect my health. I took the matter to court and was allowed to move out before the end of the lease. As for the bill, I have a ridiculously huge amount to pay for excessive electricity usage. The thing is that I’ve always been very careful with my energy usage, and I’ve never had to pay this much for electricity (the bill in my previous apartment was 100 times cheaper, I'm not joking) I suspect it’s due to humidity in the building’s walls that might have caused a leak or something, but since I can’t prove it, I’m the one who has to pay the bill (which amounts to several thousand euros 💀). But I’ll find a solution for this. It just reassures me to know that I’ll finally be able to find a better place for myself and Rescue. I was afraid it was starting to affect her health as well 🥹 I cross my fingers that I’ll be able to find a good apartment for us, where we'll be safe and healthy!
