📰👏 We’re thrilled to see Ken Fisher of @cozen_oconnor expand on our Interborough Express (IBX) report in @amNewYork! 🚆 🚉🏡 As Fisher notes, the IBX is “more than a transit project” — it’s a once-in-a-generation opportunity to rethink land use and economic development across Brooklyn and Queens. Our report found that more than 70,000 new homes could be built within a half mile of the proposed IBX stations, and that over 100,000 new units over the next decade (if strategic zoning changes are enacted)! We’re proud that our research is helping drive this critical conversation — and we’re keeping it going. Next week, the New York Building Congress and @AIA_NewYork | @CenterForArch will co-host a panel on housing and development along the IBX corridor, featuring a presentation by our President & CEO @CarloScissura and moderated by NYBC Chair Gregory Kelly, President & CEO of @STVstories. The panel will include Ken Fisher of Cozen O'Connor, Alyssa Cobb Konon of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (@MTA), and Laura Smith of the NYC Department of City Planning (@NYCPlanning).
