Welcome to "meet the candidate" Monday! I'm running for Congress against GOP Majority Whip "go get 'em ICE" @tomemmer. I decided to run the day the President pardoned the Jan. 6 rioters. I've helped raise 3 amazing children, now all making a difference in their communities.

We deserve a Congress that not only works for us - but actually shows up for work. The Speaker and Senate Majority Leader MUST bring Members back to confront this world crisis and rein the White House’s war of adventure in Iran.

The President is promising to commit war crimes. Gas prices are through the roof. Farmers are looking at the price of diesel and fertilizer and wondering if they can even afford to plant this spring. And Congress is on vacation.

- address the skyrocketing cost of gas or any of the other consequences of the White House’s reckless war in Iran; or - defend the right to vote against a pointless effort to pass the SAVE America Act over the objections of members of both parties.

Yesterday, “go get ‘em ICE” @TomEmmer didn’t: - enact a bill to fund TSA, FEMA, the Coast Guard and other vital agencies - all of which are being held hostage by the GOP’s insistence on even more funding for ICE;

When I am in Congress, I will fight any rules like these - even those supported by my fellow Democrats - that allow one person to shut down the House by themselves.

The President told House Republicans he needs the SAVE America Act - *plus* a ban on vote-by-mail - to guarantee a GOP win in the midterms this fall. Right on cue, GOP Majority Whip Tom “go get ‘em ICE” Emmer then said “failure is not an option.”
