The time has come on to move onto the next section of the track so thought I’d share my final rendition (for now) of my weather app There’s still work to do on it, but for now I am super pleased with the outcome. That’s all there is time for now - next onto tech test practice!

Just wrapped up a week of learning #React at @CommandShiftHQ and built a weather app using #OpenWeatherAPI. It can fetch a live 5-day weather forecast from a user-defined city, and I'm still working on adding more features and tweaking the design. #webdevelopment #coding

It’s now official 🎉 I’m a Senior Engineer II as of today.

In some personal news my promotion case was successful and now I’m happy to announce that in two weeks I’ll officially be a Senior Engineer II at Booking.com

Tonight I gave one of my favourite lectures at @CommandShiftHQ on deployment. It’s really cool to get towards the end of the module and show our students that all the hard work they’ve put in creating APIs with Express can finally see the light of day when deployed with @render.

@MagariMike I took last night off too for a day with the fam! Feel much better today and catching up! I always feel guilty but then realise my brain is not a computer!

I am gonna be totally honest, I took last night off from coding all together! I made spag bol and drank red wine in front of the TV 🤩 Ngl I felt really guilty this morning that I hadn't had a super productive evening, but It was very much needed.
